Premium Outlet Mall
LOCATION: Situated on Vineland Avenue, exit 68 on I4, near the end of I-Drive.
This is one of our favourite places to shop whilst in Orlando; we usually choose to visit in the evening when it is cooler as it has an outside arrangement. The shops are usually open until 11pm in peak times and 9pm in off peak times.
There is a really good selection of shops, some of our favourites are Ralph Lauren, Osh Kosh B’gosh (children’s wear) & The Levis shop. There are also many other designer names on offer – Calvin Klein, DKNY, French Connection, Tommy Hilfiger, Giorgio Armani to name but a few.
For the children there is a Character Warehouse & a Universal shop (had lots of Sponge Bob merchandise the last time we were there).
There are sweet shops, a fudge shop and a chocolate shop for those with a sweet tooth. Also Cosmetics outlets and many shoe shops.
We always visit the Skechers Shop to stock up on trainers; these are among the most comfortable trainers both my other half & I have ever had. They quite often have an offer on to buy one get the second pair half price, a real bargain.
My sons love the Nike, Reebok, Puma and Adidas outlets both for trainers and sports clothing. The prices are really reasonable and they always find some great bargains to take home.
There is a Food Court, fairly central in the mall. Here there is a good choice of snacks, ranging from burgers to salads and Italian to Chinese. Also plenty of choice
of coffee outlets, doughnuts and cookies.
We usually round our visit off with a stop at The Outback Steakhouse on the way out which is almost opposite to one of the entrances to the car park at the mall. Or you could opt to combine it with the Dixie Stampede Dinner Show, which is also next-door and well worth a visit |
