Tony Roma's
Locations: US192, International Drive, S. Apopka Vineland Rd. to name a few
They say its “The Place” for ribs and we would certainly agree with them. We are such fans of the Baby Back Ribs that we have looked on their website and found restaurants in other US states to visit when on holiday, whilst in Washington we found one near Baltimore and in Las Vegas there was one in Fremont Street, sad but true.
To start they bring some warm bread and butter, which always goes down nicely. For appetisers we usually select the potato skins filled with cheese and bacon. The Tony’s sampler is very good too, with a nice selection of most of the starters on offer.
For us there is no competition when it comes to the main course, it has to be the Baby Back Ribs, on our last two visits Monday night was all you could eat ribs night, guess which night we choose to visit! The steaks are very nice too; our eldest usually opts for a steak as he is not keen on ribs, takes all sorts I suppose. There are soups, salads, burgers, chicken and seafood to choose form too. Don’t forget to ask for their signature barbeque sauces to be bought to your table, they have the Original, Carolina Honey, Blue Ridge Smokey and Red Hot. My favourite is the Carolina Honey, just adds that bit extra to the ribs.
They do have a selection of deserts but to be honest we have rarely managed to get that far, too many ribs I’m afraid.
We usually finish our meal with a coffee, which is the perfect end to a great meal.
You can buy the sauces to take away with you too, if you want. Go and try the ribs you won’t regret it.
